1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, opening, or using IC Insight, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service & Privacy

• Purpose of the App: IC Insight is an application designed to give you clarity and predictive tools for your academic grades.
• On-Device Grade Processing: IC Insight processes your academic records, course averages, and login credentials locally on your device. We do not host central databases that store your grades, academic transcripts, or portal passwords. We do not receive, transmit through our own servers, or store your Infinite Campus credentials.
• No Technical Diagnostics or Analytics: The App collects no diagnostic data. It includes no crash reporting service and no analytics of any kind, so no crash logs, device information, performance metrics, or device-level identifiers are collected or transmitted.
• Direct Network Calls Only:The App connects directly between your device and your school's official Infinite Campus portal. No external third-party servers or Aperlu servers act as intermediaries for your grade data.

3. Third-Party Services

IC Insight integrates no third-party services. There is no crash reporting provider, no analytics provider, and no advertising provider in the App. The only server it communicates with is your school's own Infinite Campus portal.

4. User Responsibilities

• Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your own device and login credentials.
• Authorized Access: You agree to use IC Insight only with Infinite Campus accounts you are legally authorized to access.
• Institutional Compliance:You agree to use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and your school district's rules or guidelines.

5. Minors & Parental Involvement

IC Insight is designed with students in mind, some of whom may be minors. If you are under the age required to enter into legally binding agreements in your jurisdiction, you should use the App only with the involvement or permission of a parent or legal guardian.

6. Disclaimer of Affiliation

IC Insight is an independent application created by Aperlu LLC. IC Insight is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected with Infinite Campus, Inc., or any of its subsidiaries. The official Infinite Campus website can be found at infinitecampus.com. The name "Infinite Campus" as well as related names, marks, emblems, and images are registered trademarks of their respective owners.

7. Accuracy & Informational Use

IC Insight provides calculated course averages, scenario modeling, and GPA estimates based on the data retrieved directly from your school's server.

Calculations within IC Insight are provided for informational and planning purposes only and do not constitute an official academic transcript or official school record. Always verify official grades directly with your school or district.

8. Ownership & Acceptable Use

IC Insight and all related software, code, branding, and designs are owned by Aperlu LLC.

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not attempt to re-sell, redistribute, or reverse-engineer the App software.

9. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Aperlu LLC, its officers, directors, employees, or partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages whatsoever—including, without limitation, loss of data, loss of goodwill, device malfunction, academic decisions or outcomes, or service interruptions—arising out of or in connection with:

• Your download, access, or use of (or inability to access or use) IC Insight;
• Any inaccuracy, miscalculation, delay, or failure in the display of grade data, scenario calculations, or GPA projections;
• Any downtime, network failures, or unauthorized access involving your school's Infinite Campus servers or third-party device environments; or
• Any action or inaction taken by you based on information, calculations, or projections provided within the App.

IC Insight is provided solely as a personal organization and analytical tool. Your reliance on any calculations or data within the App is strictly at your own risk. In no event shall Aperlu's total liability to you for all claims, damages, or causes of action exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing or using the App.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

IC Insight is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose or accuracy.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of IC Insight following changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
